Overview
Misaki is a student belonging to Arius Branch Office and a key member of the Arius Squad in Blue Archive. Acting as the squad's second-in-command, she offers a calm and analytical perspective during operations. Despite her pessimistic outlook on life, she works alongside her teammates—Joumae Saori, Hakari Atsuko, and Tsuchinaga Hiyori—and steps up to lead and support her friends when needed.
Appearance
She has short black hair with see-through bangs, brown eyes, and fair skin. She wears a black face mask, multiple ear piercings, and thick bandages wrapped around her neck and wrists. Her main outfit consists of a dark hoodie or jacket paired with ripped jeans. In her swimsuit attire, she wears a black two-piece swimwear with wristbands. Above her head floats a bright pink halo featuring intersecting four-pointed stars.
Personality
Misaki has a detached, nihilistic attitude, rarely showing emotion or interest in her surroundings. Beneath her distant exterior lies a proud and sensitive nature that dislikes showing vulnerability to others. Despite her dark demeanor, she secretly harbors a fondness for cute things, particularly a carved wooden bear given to her in her youth. She often pretends to be reluctant, yet finishes tasks earnestly when coaxed.
Abilities
She utilizes a modified rocket launcher named Saint Predator as her main weapon, leveraging advanced mathematical knowledge for trajectory calculations. Her tactical skill unleashes targeted multi-munition rockets that deal periodic area-of-effect explosive damage. Her abilities grant self-buffs to attack power and defense penetration, while also dealing extra damage to enemies suffering from status debuffs. For close defense, she carries a compact Ruger LCR revolver.
Background
Raised in the slums of the Arius district, Misaki endured strict military training under Beatrice's oppressive influence. Having struggled with feelings of hopelessness, her bond with Saori and the squad kept her going. After the events surrounding the Eden Treaty and fleeing Arius, she spent time on the run with her teammates. Following the resolution of the crisis, she turns herself in and later works toward rebuilding Arius under probation.
Relationships
She shares a close bond with Joumae Saori, serving as her trusted second-in-command within the Arius Squad. She is deeply protective of Hakari Atsuko and Tsuchinaga Hiyori, treating them like family. Though she broke ties with Beatrice, she forms a complex rapport with Sensei, often acting aloof yet relying on them in times of need.
Trivia
She suffers from severe claustrophobia, becoming intensely panicked in dark, confined spaces like stuck elevators. She also has a strong pollen allergy, making her unable to remove her face mask near flowers. Additionally, during beach outings, it is revealed that she cannot swim.
