Overview
Takane Miyoshi is a character from the mobile game Blue Archive, developed by Nexon Games and published by Yostar. She is a second-year student at Red Winter Federal Academy and an active member of the school's Publishing Department. Working as a book critic for the department's magazine, Red Bear, she also hosts fan convention events and manages a manga fan group. While she presents herself with elegant manners and refined speech, her deeply subjective reviews occasionally spark debates.
Appearance
Takane features long red hair paired with golden eyes. She wears a black hairband accompanied by a black bow on the left side of her head. Her outfit consists of a white short coat layered over a grey dress, white pantyhose, black gloves, and black pumps. She carries a pink quilted bag decorated with a white rabbit plushie. Floating above her head is a red halo composed of two five-pointed ring elements and a central circle.
Personality
Although Takane maintains a polite, high-class demeanor, she is inherently a prideful tsundere who frequently utters sarcastic remarks. When flustered, she habitually twirls her hair, and when pushed to anger, she recklessly fires her handgun at people's feet. Despite her noble aura, her personal tastes are surprisingly modest; she regularly cooks bean sprout dishes for herself and transforms into an over-passionate spectator when watching wild ice hockey matches.
Abilities
In battle, Takane functions as a Mystic-attribute Striker performing the Healer role. She wields a customized handgun named Schwipsig, which features a pink grip and gold-plated accents. Her EX Skill heals a chosen ally and herself while granting a unique status effect. Her Normal Skill targets allies with low health, restoring HP proportional to their missing health, and upgrading her unique weapon enhances her combat effectiveness in indoor terrain.
Background
Takane pours immense passion into reviewing literary works for her department. During an excursion to Trinity General School to sell publications, her club president fabricated a background story identifying Takane as a fallen princess of a winter nation. Her elegant demeanor led Trinity students to believe the story entirely, sparking a series of misunderstandings until the Situation was resolved with the help of Sensei. She continuously manages literary events and fan publications despite frequent academy chaos.
Relationships
She works under her senior Aramaki Yakumo, respecting her business acumen despite often being bewildered by her profit-driven schemes. She maintains a sharp rivalry with Himeki Meru from the Knowledge Liberation Front; although the two frequently exchange bite-sized insults regarding their creative views, they secretly acknowledge each other's talents. She also interacts with Akizumi Momiji during fan events, and holds a trusting relationship with Sensei, sharing her personal hobbies and cooking with them.
Trivia
Her visual motif, historical backstory references, and the name of her personal weapon—Schwipsig—are derived from Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. Her birthday on June 18 also matches Anastasia's historical birth date.
