Overview

Asuma Toki is a first-year student at Millennium Science School from Blue Archive. Operating under the callsign "04," she is the hidden fifth agent of the secret organization Cleaning & Clearing. Originally serving exclusively as the personal bodyguard and maid to Seminar president Tsukatsuki Rio, her existence was initially concealed even from her fellow club members. Exceptional in combat, infiltration, and electronic warfare, she later established a close bond with Sensei following Tsukatsuki Rio's disappearance and officially joined active field operations alongside Cleaning & Clearing and the Super Phenomenon Task Force.

Appearance

Toki features short blonde hair with blue streaks, styled into a half-up braid and a hair bun bound by a blue ribbon. She has blue eyes and a light blue and grey-blue halo formed by three concentric rings. Her default appearance is a tactical maid outfit comprising a black shirt with juliet sleeves, a layered detachable skirt over a high-cut leotard, a white apron, a chest harness, a blue bowtie, an earpiece, a headdress, fingerless gloves, belt pouches, a thigh holster, and white high-heel thigh boots. In her bunny suit, her hair is worn loose, paired with a navy blue bunny suit, white thigh-high socks, high heels, and a right-arm weapon unit. In her combat outfit, her hair is tied back, and she wears a white hooded coat over a tight bodysuit while wielding dual pistols.

Personality

Toki maintains an expressionless facade and communicates in a flat, robotic tone. While she takes pride in her skills and openly declares herself a perfect agent and maid, this stoicism shields an intensely lonely personality that harbors deep anxiety about isolation. Once she develops trust in someone like Sensei, she casts aside her distance and becomes remarkably affectionate and dependent. Unbothered by ordinary academic matters, she showed little concern over repeating a school year. She also frequently displays a deadpan peace sign gesture passed on to her by Akeboshi Himari.

Abilities

Toki's main weapon is "Secret Time," a caseless assault rifle modeled after the H&K G11, alongside a SIG P320 sidearm. When equipping the full-body powered exoskeleton "Abi-Eshuh," supported by Eridu's computational network, she commands gatling guns, a heavy laser cannon, and near-predictive evasive defenses. However, high-acceleration closed environments overload the suit's processing and nullify its mobility. In her bunny agent equipment, she uses an attaché-case missile arm-gear, whereas her combat variant adopts dual break-action energy pistols named "Search & Recon" for swift engagements.

Background

Toki operated in absolute secrecy as the loyal assistant and defender of Seminar president Tsukatsuki Rio. During the "Clockwork Flower Pavane" arc, she carried out Rio's directives by confronting Sensei and Cleaning & Clearing with Abi-Eshuh, overpowering Mikamo Neru until her suit's operational vulnerabilities were targeted and defeated. Left directionless following Rio's disappearance, she was sheltered by Akeboshi Himari and subsequently pledged her service to Sensei. Rejoining Cleaning & Clearing, she took part in major events, including the final story chapter and the Decagrammaton operations.

Relationships

Toki previously shared a deeply reliant bond with her former master, Tsukatsuki Rio. Following Rio's retreat, she directed her devotion to Sensei, developing a strong and childlike reliance on them. Akeboshi Himari serves as her current guardian, having noticeably influenced Toki's expressive habits. She holds a competitive desire to surpass Mikamo Neru, the leader of Cleaning & Clearing, while secretly revering her strength. Murokasa Akane treats her with warm care, and despite initially viewing Izumimoto Eimi as a rival, Toki eventually formed a sincere understanding with her.

Trivia

Toki's signature firearm, "Secret Time," is based on the experimental caseless H&K G11 K2 assault rifle. The designation of her exoskeleton, "Abi-Eshuh," is named after a monarch from the First Dynasty of Babylon. Having no personal pastimes originally, she picked up watching videos, playing games, and reading manga as provisional hobbies at Sensei's suggestion; her gaming skill matches Alice's but remains inferior to Yuzu's. Following her release, she gained immense popularity and received alternate costume variants faster than any other student in the game.
