Appearance
Utaha has long straight purple hair styled with a back tail, paired with purple eyes. Her default outfit consists of a white collared shirt, a blue necktie, a skirt, black pantyhose, a jacket worn over her shoulders, and gloves. Her pinkish halo features a hexagonal outer ring enclosing a rhombus, accompanied by knife-like floating side pieces. In her Cheer Squad attire, she wears a traditional gakuran with a high ponytail and a headband. Her Idol outfit features a traditional Japanese kimono with neatly styled hair and floral hair ornaments.

Utaha is a responsible, serious, and caring club leader who takes immense pride in her craftsmanship. However, her romantic obsession with invention leads her to add absurd, unconventional features to her creations, often taking projects off course. She views oil-stained hands as a badge of honor for a true artisan. Uniquely, she holds a deep passion for retro Enka music, often writing and performing her own songs.
Abilities
In combat, Utaha uses her custom submachine gun "Meister Zero," modeled after the MAC-10, which is durable enough to double as a makeshift tool. She deploys her automated turret named "Thunder-chan" to perform support fire and draw enemy attention. When wearing her Cheer Squad uniform, she steps onto the front lines as a Striker, boosting the capabilities of her turrets to deal heavy damage.

As the head of the Engineering Department, Utaha assists various clubs and manages major technical projects across Millennium Science School. She played a key role in constructing a railgun during the Main Story and joined combat operations during major crises. Through repeated visits for facility maintenance and tool shopping, she frequently collaborates with Sensei.

Utaha leads her subordinates Nekozuka Hibiki and Tomimi Kotori in the Engineering Department.
