Kisaki

Overview

Ryuuge Kisaki is a character from the mobile game Blue Archive. She is a third-year high school student who serves as the head, or Monshu, of the Xuanlong Office, the organization acting as the student council of Shanhaijing Secondary School. Possessing a regal aura and an archaic manner of speech, she leads her school with political wisdom, seeking both harmony among its factions and modern progress for the institution.

Appearance

Kisaki features a dragon-shaped halo, slanted grey eyes, and long black hair styled in M-shaped bangs and double buns leading into twintails held by butterfly hair ornaments. She wears a short, sleeveless black china dress with a dragon print, side slits, a back cutout, and a pelvic curtain. Over this dress, she drapes a grey pinstripe coat. Her attire is completed with black half-gloves and high-heeled black pumps. She carries a suppressed submachine gun stored inside an attache case with its stock collapsed.

Personality

Kisaki adopts an archaic tone of speech, presenting herself as a formidable and dignified authority. Despite leading a conservative school board, she harbors a flexible mindset that values open relations with other institutions. Around people she trusts, she reveals a playful and teasing side. She is secretly self-conscious about her petite height, diligently practicing morning exercises in the hopes of encouraging physical growth.

Abilities

Kisaki operates as a SPECIAL-class support unit from the rear lines. Her EX Skill grants a designated ally a unique buff that significantly increases the damage produced by their EX Skill for a limited duration. Her Normal Skill periodically creates a protective shield based on her healing stat for the ally with the lowest HP percentage. Her Passive Skill increases her own healing capability, while her Sub Skill boosts the cost recovery rate for the entire squad.

Background

As the leader of the Xuanlong Office, Kisaki governs the Shanhaijing district. In the past, she was poisoned by Shugyo Kai, the former head of the Alchemy Research Society, leaving her with a fragile constitution that relies on incense, a special inhaler, and physical exercises to remain active. Despite resistance from internal conservative factions and her illness, she regularly disguises herself to inspect the city and works alongside external partners to put down rebellions.

Relationships

Kisaki shares a deep bond of trust with Sensei, often showing a sweet and playful side when alone with him. She maintains a respectful rivalry with Tsukishiro Rumi of the Genbu Commercial Association, though Kisaki dislikes being treated like a younger sister. Her subordinate Konoe Mina serves her with complete devotion. Furthermore, she forms a friendly association with Sorasaki Hina of Gehenna Academy after discovering they share the exact same age, height, and birthday.

Trivia

Kisaki's halo is modeled after the ancient Jade Dragon artifact from the Hongshan culture. Her signature weapon name translates to "Know Him and Know Yourself," drawing from Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and her skill titles reference classical texts such as the Book of Rites and the Analects. Additionally, her secret morning stretch routine became famous across campus under the rumor that it was an exercise designed to help her grow taller.
