Miyako

Overview

Tsukiyuki Miyako is a first-year student at SRT Special Academy and the leader of its RABBIT Platoon, operating under the callsign RABBIT 1, in Blue Archive. Following the sudden closure of her academy, she lives in a local park alongside her teammates. Although her muted facial expressions often make her appear emotionless and aloof, she is at heart a deeply caring leader who holds a earnest commitment to her own sense of justice.

Appearance

Miyako features long white hair tied in a partial side-up style (or a side-tail in her swimsuit outfit) and purple eyes. She wears a rabbit-ear headset, a blue serafuku-style uniform, a plate carrier, knee pads, short boots, and an abdominal utility pouch with a knife. Uniquely, her rear armor plate incorporates a white fluffy rabbit-tail ornament, and she carries reserve magazines on a thigh rig. In her swimsuit attire, she wears a frilled one-piece suit paired with a swim ring, sandals, an anklet, and headphones.

Personality

Extremely earnest and responsible, Miyako constantly puts the safety and well-being of her squadmates first. Though initially wary and sharp toward adults due to the circumstances surrounding her school, her cool exterior masks a gentle, affectionate nature. Once she learns to trust someone, she displays deep loyalty and quiet devotion, occasionally revealing a sweeter, softer side behind her calm composure.

Abilities

In combat, Miyako relies on her primary submachine gun, designated as the RABBIT-31. She functions as a durable front-line combatant using a self-propelled flash drone to stun targets and setting claymore mines for area denial. She can also remotely control an unmanned aerial vehicle via her smartphone to call in localized airstrikes.

Background

Inspired in middle school by the achievements of the senior FOX Platoon, Miyako enrolled in SRT Special Academy to pursue her vision of true justice. When the school was abruptly ordered to close, she and her squad refused transfers and set up camp in Kousagi Park in protest. After overcoming initial hostility toward Sensei, she developed a deep bond of trust with them. When later tempted to merge her team into FOX Platoon, Miyako ultimately chose to stick to her own conscience and remain by Sensei's side.

Relationships

As platoon leader, Miyako takes care of her teammates Saki Sorai, Miyu Kasumizawa, and Moe Kazekura. Although she initially rejected Sensei with sharp words, she was the first in her squad to lower her guard, eventually forming an exceptionally strong bond with them. She originally held great admiration for Yukino and the rest of FOX Platoon, but chose to oppose them when their paths diverged.

Trivia

Elements of her character design and story subtlely parallel the Grail knight Galahad from Arthurian lore. In her personal life, Miyako keeps a pet white rabbit named Pyonko, given to her by Sensei, which she occasionally leaves in the care of the Public Security Bureau when away on long assignments.
