In combat, Kikyou operates as a frontline Striker wielding her signature Type 99 long rifle archetype, titled Hyakkaryouran Official Rifle - Azure Wisdom. Her EX skill delivers cross-shaped area damage while lowering enemy defense, and her normal skill grants a vibration damage bonus to nearby allies. By accumulating Furinkazan stacks, she reduces the EX skill cost for her teammates. As the operations strategist of the Hyakkaryouran Conflict Resolution Council, Kikyou fought to maintain stability during a prolonged leadership crisis. Following Nagusa's surrender of the council's symbol, Kikyou reluctantly declared the official dissolution of the club and engaged in a dueling match against her junior Yukari to force her to accept reality. Through her interactions with Sensei and her fellow members during the regional crises, she confronted her internal shadow, resolved her doubts, and helped rescue her comrades, ultimately helping restore the council to active service.
