Nozomi

Overview

Tachibana Nozomi is a first-year student at Highlander Railway Academy in the mobile game Blue Archive, serving as an executive in the Central Control Center (CCC). Alongside her twin sister Hikari, she frequently gets involved in chaotic situations and acts primarily out of personal interest. However, despite her playful nature, she demonstrates remarkable professionalism and responsibility when managing train operations.

Appearance

Nozomi has a petite build with light green, slightly wavy long hair tied in twintails, sharp golden eyes, and prominent fangs. She possesses a halo, pointed ears, and a devil-like tail ending in an arrowhead. Her attire consists of a retro conductor-style jacket paired with short shorts, white tights, ankle boots, white gloves, and an armband. A master controller key is attached to her waist, and her accessories are arranged mirrored relative to her twin sister.

Personality

Nozomi has a cheerful, energetic, and free-spirited personality. She enjoys stirring up trouble alongside her twin sister, but exhibits a strictly serious attitude when it comes to train schedules and railway operations. Although she often displays a playful and slightly mischievous demeanor, she is exceptionally reliable when committed to a task.

Abilities

In combat, Nozomi acts as a Sonic-attribute Striker utilizing a 3-inch barrel .357 Magnum revolver named Deadly Switch. Her EX Skill summons a train to crash straight into designated enemies, dealing heavy damage that can be amplified by expending additional Skill Cost. Additionally, her passive features ensure that all of her attacks deliver critical hits.

Background

Nozomi initially clashed with the Foreclosure Task Force after constructing an unauthorized railway in the Abydos desert, leading an armored train in battle against them. After being rescued from an attack by the Kaiser Group, she returned the favor by providing high-speed rail transportation to aid their mission. Later, during a cargo transport assignment, she managed to navigate a series of automatic system errors and gang attacks to ensure the delivery was completed.

Relationships

She shares an extremely close bond with her twin sister, Tachibana Hikari, demonstrating perfect synchronization in both everyday life and combat. She holds a hostile relationship with Suou from the audit office, as their respective departments monitor each other. She also frequently drags her colleague Utsumi Aoba into chaotic situations while attempting to offer reassurance.

Trivia

Her name is derived from the Nozomi Shinkansen train service. Her weapon design is modeled after the Manurhin MR73 revolver, famously utilized by France's GIGN. Prior to her playable release, she gained significant popularity within the community under a fan-created nickname inspired by train noises.
