Appearance
Ikkaku has a tall and slender physique. Her distinct look features dark hair that hangs down on both sides of her face from beneath a headband tied around her head. Like her crewmates, she wears the standard Heart Pirates full-body boiler suit marked with the crew's emblem.
Personality
Ikkaku possesses a cautious and protective nature regarding her crew's safety. She demonstrates a healthy level of skepticism toward unfamiliar alliances, as seen when she openly questioned the risks of partnering with other pirate outfits. Despite her initial reluctance, she is fundamentally loyal and pragmatic; once a decision is made, she supports her captain, Trafalgar Law, and diligently carries out her duties, even risking herself to assist allies in critical situations.
Background
As a member of the Heart Pirates under Trafalgar Law, Ikkaku has traveled alongside her crewmates on their submarine journeys. When Law negotiated a pirate alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates, Ikkaku was among the crew members—alongside Uni and Clione—who initially voiced strong objections to joining forces with Monkey D. Luffy. Over time, however, she put aside her doubts, adapting to the alliance and actively aiding in emergency situations, such as helping rescue Luffy.
Relationships
Ikkaku serves under captain Trafalgar Law, trusting his command even when initially questioning his strategic choices. She shared common ground with crewmates Uni and Clione, as all three originally opposed forming an alliance with Monkey D. Luffy. Within the Heart Pirates, she works alongside Bepo, Penguin, Shachi, Jean Bart, and Hakugan. Although initially wary of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, she eventually cooperated to support their shared objectives.
Trivia
Ikkaku is widely recognized among fans as the lone female member of the Heart Pirates due to being the only female member depicted in the crew. Her cautious stance regarding the alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates was officially mentioned by the author in the SBS question-and-answer column of Volume 83.
