Hailing from the East Blue, Van Augur joined the Blackbeard Pirates during the crew's early stages. He played key roles in the encounters at Jaya and Banaro Island, later taking part in the direct attack on Edward Newgate during the Summit War at Marineford. In the New World, he assumed command as Captain of the Third Ship. His key operations include infiltrating Cacao Town with Kuzan to kidnap Charlotte Pudding, ambushing the Heart Pirates at Winner Island, and covertly landing on Egghead Island.
