Standing at a modest height, she possesses a refined figure.
Personality
Koala has a bright, caring, and sensible personality, often serving as the grounded voice of reason when dealing with Sabo's impulsive tendencies. Due to her tragic past as a slave, she initially hid her fear behind a constant forced smile. However, traveling with the Sun Pirates helped her regain her genuine warmth, allowing her to grow into an open-minded individual free of prejudice.
Abilities
Despite being human, Koala holds the position of Fish-Man Karate Assistant Master. She demonstrates formidable close-combat skills, effortlessly taking down multiple enemy soldiers and utilizing advanced techniques such as the Three Thousand Brick Fist.
Background
Escaping slavery during Fisher Tiger's raid on Mary Geoise, Koala was taken aboard the Sun Pirates' ship, where the crew's kindness restored her emotional well-being before returning her home. During the Dressrosa incident, she conducted covert operations to investigate illegal weapon trades.
Relationships
She works closely in a team alongside Sabo and Hack, frequently reining in Sabo's erratic behavior. Fisher Tiger and the Sun Pirates, including Jinbe, are her former saviors and benefactor. During the two-year timeskip, she formed a close bond with Nico Robin and taught her Fish-Man Karate moves as a form of self-defense.
Trivia
She is the only known human outside of fish-men and merfolk to bear the Sun Pirate mark on her body. Storywise, her life trajectory serves as a direct contrast to characters like Hody Jones, representing a spirit that rejects inherited hatred.
