Overview

Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is a character in the manga series ONE PIECE. As one of the Five Elders who hold the highest public authority in the World Government, he carries the title of Warrior God of Agriculture among the highest rank of Celestial Dragons. Bound by absolute loyalty to the secret sovereign Imu, he is among the rare figures granted direct audiences with the ruler. Compared to his fellow Elders, he stands out for his noticeably more youthful appearance.

Appearance

Ju Peter is the youngest-looking member of the Five Elders. He has short blonde hair, a matching blonde beard and mustache, sharp teeth, and a large scar across his chest. Unlike the traditional formal wear of his peers, he dresses in a dark suit over an unbuttoned white shirt without a necktie.

Personality

Ju Peter displays a cold and ruthless disposition, viewing ordinary humans as insignificant insects compared to the Celestial Dragons. Driven by a supreme sense of elitism, he maintains unquestioning devotion to Imu and remains firmly committed to preserving the World Government's absolute control over the world.

Abilities

Ju Peter possesses the ability to transform into a colossal monster known as a Sandworm. Despite his massive size in this form, he can burrow through the ground at high speeds, creating immense sinkholes in the terrain to devour his opponents whole.

Background

Serving as the Warrior God of Agriculture among the Five Elders, Ju Peter helps oversee top-level administrative decisions for the World Government. During the Egghead Arc, when a crisis directly threatened the World Government's global authority, he deployed to the front lines himself, assuming his monstrous form to battle Monkey D. Luffy and his allies.

Relationships

Ju Peter is utterly devoted to Imu, the hidden ruler of the World Government, serving as one of the few allowed into Imu's presence. He operates alongside the other members of the Five Elders. In combat, he has fought against Monkey D. Luffy as well as the giant warriors Dorry and Brogy from Elbaf.

Trivia

Each member of the Five Elders bears a name linked to a planet in the Solar System; Saint Shepherd Ju Peter's name corresponds to Jupiter.
