Personality

Guided by the core philosophy that a nation exists for its citizens, he is a compassionate and selfless ruler who puts the peace and well-being of his people above all else. His humble demeanor earns him the devotion of his subjects. In private life, he is a loving father to his daughter while also exhibiting a comedic, mischievous side.

Background

He descends from one of the twenty royal lineages that established the World Government eight hundred years ago. Unlike the other founding families, his ancestors declined to relocate to the Sacred Land of Mary Geoise, remaining on the surface to rule Alabasta. As the twelfth king, he spent his reign fostering peace alongside his family.

He shares a deep, loving bond with his daughter, Nefertari Vivi, showing constant care for her well-being. He also establishes a warm and humorous relationship with Monkey D. Luffy and the members of the Straw Hat Pirates, engaging in friendly interactions with characters such as Sanji.

Trivia

The Nefertari family holds the unique historical distinction of being the sole founding royal line of the World Government to refuse moving to Mary Geoise, foregoing the status of the Celestial Dragons. His family name reflects real-world ancient Egyptian royal naming traditions.
