Limejuice

Overview

Limejuice is a character from the manga and anime series One Piece. He serves as an executive officer and combatant for the Red Hair Pirates, the powerful crew led by the Emperor Red-Haired Shanks. Having been with the crew since their stay in Foosha Village twelve years ago, he is a long-standing member who interacted with Monkey D. Luffy during the protagonist's early childhood.

Appearance

Limejuice wears a dark bandana emblazoned with a skull motif resembling the Red Hair Pirates' Jolly Roger. Over twelve years, his blonde hair has grown out to extend past his shoulders. He has blue eyes and frequently wears dark sunglasses. His attire remains simple and relatively unchanged over time, consistently featuring gloves across major events such as the Summit War and One Piece Film: Red.

Personality

In his earlier days, Limejuice had the impression of a sharp and somewhat unconventional young man. Over the years, his demeanor has evolved into a calm and imposing presence fitting for a senior officer of a Yonko crew. He possesses a strong sense of pride and loyalty toward his captain, Red-Haired Shanks, and his fellow crewmates.

Abilities

Limejuice is a highly skilled fighter who specializes in an aerial combat style. This technique allows him to maneuver through the air similarly to Sanji's Sky Walk or the Geppo technique of Rokushiki. In combat, he wields a long staff equipped with a unique gimmick that enables him to charge it with electricity and strike opponents as an electro-wielding warrior.

Background

As a veteran member of the Red Hair Pirates, Limejuice traveled to the East Blue twelve years ago and spent time in Foosha Village, where he came to know young Monkey D. Luffy. He has continued to sail through the New World as part of Shanks's inner circle, standing alongside his crew during pivotal conflicts such as the Summit War at Marineford, the events of One Piece Film: Red, and the journey into the Elbaf Arc.

Relationships

Limejuice serves faithfully under Captain Red-Haired Shanks as a high-ranking executive. Within the crew, he works alongside fellow frontline combatants such as Howling Gab and shares a signature style element with Building Snake, as both wear dark sunglasses. He also holds a personal connection to Monkey D. Luffy dating back to the crew's time in Foosha Village.

Trivia

Though Limejuice has kept the same general outfit style and skull bandana for over twelve years, his shoulder-length hair and sunglasses give him a notably different visual presence in present day. He plays a prominent role among the Red Hair Pirates' executives in One Piece Film: Red.
