Overview

Agravain is a character appearing in the Fate series, notably featured as a non-playable character in the Camelot Singularity of Fate/Grand Order. As one of the Knights of the Round Table, he serves as the primary advisor and administrative official to King Arthur. Cold and unyielding in his duties, he takes on the heavy burdens of governance and internal control, standing as an indispensable aide fiercely loyal to his monarch.

Appearance

Agravain is a tall, strongly built man with black hair and grey eyes. He wears a full suit of pitch-black armor and carries a stern, harsh facial expression that makes him appear significantly older than his actual age.

Personality

Agravain is an unyielding, pragmatic perfectionist who willingly acts as the villain to maintain order. Driven by absolute loyalty to his King, he is a dedicated workaholic. Due to deep past trauma, he harbors severe misanthropy and distrust toward women, yet he secretly shows concern for his siblings.

Abilities

Agravain possesses exceptional executive skills and master-level interrogation techniques. He can manifest black chains known as the Iron Restraints to bind opponents. Additionally, he has the capacity to inflict Madness Enhancement upon himself or his subordinates to boost martial capabilities.

Background

Born to King Lot and Morgan le Fay, Agravain was sent to King Arthur's court as an assassin to bring down the realm. Instead, he was moved by the King's devotion and became a loyal counselor. In the Camelot Singularity, he refused the Lion King's Gift, managed the sacred city, and gave his life fulfilling his final duties.

Relationships

He harbors unwavering devotion to his sovereign, Artoria Pendragon. He deeply despises his mother Morgan le Fay and Queen Guinevere. He maintains a bitter rivalry with Lancelot. Despite his cold exterior, he subtly cares for his siblings Gawain, Gareth, and Mordred, and he held genuine respect for Xuanzang Sanzang.

Trivia

Within the Round Table's Thirteen Restraints, Agravain holds the authority to approve a battle as a 'Decision for Truth.' He is often depicted in side stories as a long-suffering straight man to the eccentricities of his fellow knights.
