Overview

Suzuka Gozen is a Saber-class Servant featured across the Fate series, debuting in Fate/Extra CCC Fox Tail and later appearing in Fate/Grand Order. Recorded in legend as a maiden who allied with Sakagami no Tamuramaro to rid Suzuka Mountain of oni, she is in truth the daughter of the Daitenmao. Deeply enamored with modern Japanese high school culture, she enthusiastically adopts the mannerisms of a trendy gyaru, earning her the alternate moniker of JK Saber.

Appearance

Her standard attire creatively merges a Japanese high school uniform with traditional elements, complemented by a school bag and a mobile phone. She sports blonde and pink multicolored long hair, yellow eyes, tan skin, bare shoulders, a miniskirt, and an eboshi hat. To rival Caster, she deliberately manifested fluffy fox ears and a fox tail. Driven by a desire to avoid visible clothing lines beneath her skirt, she notably refrains from wearing underwear.

Personality

On the surface, Suzuka Gozen acts like a bubbly, energetic gyaru who is obsessed with high school romance and talks in lighthearted modern slang. This persona is entirely an act; her true nature is that of a wise, dignified, and highly responsible princess. Despite her pragmatic intelligence, her dutifulness makes her acutely self-conscious of her sinister origin as a demon's daughter, occasionally driving her into gloomy spells of melancholy. When devoted to someone she cares for, she proves fiercely loyal and attentive, even enjoying cooking for her partner.

Abilities

She commands a versatile three-sword style utilizing the legendary blades Daitouren, Shoutouren, and Kenmyouren. By wielding one sword directly while telekinetically hovering the others using Jintsuuriki, she relentlessly pressures opponents from any distance. Her arsenal includes elemental attacks involving water and wind, fire summoning, and a charm-inducing Mystic Eye. Her primary Noble Phantasm, Tenkiame, unleashes a deadly rain of countless golden blades from the sky. Another Noble Phantasm, Saichi no Shukufuku, drastically boosts her intellect to optimize tactical decision-making, while her ultimate technique, Sanzen Daisen Sekai, allows her to view parallel worlds for ultimate foresight at the cost of consuming her spectral existence.

Background

Sent from the heavens by her father, the Daitenmao, to transform Japan into a realm of monsters, Suzuka Gozen refused to bring ruin to humanity. While plotting against the oni Otakemaru, she met the heroic general Sakagami no Tamuramaro and fell deeply in love with him. Together, the couple vanquished numerous oni across the land. Though tragic misunderstandings led to her premature death at a young age, legend holds that her heartbroken lover journeyed to the underworld to negotiate her rebirth, allowing them to reunite. As a Servant, her obsession with being a high school student stems from a genuine admiration for the unburdened, bright lifestyle of modern youth.

Relationships

Sakagami no Tamuramaro remains her beloved partner from her past life, a deeply cherished memory she fiercely protects. In Fate/Extra CCC Fox Tail, she shows profound affection for her Master, Sakagami Kazuhito, whom she affectionately calls Kaz-kun and serves with absolute devotion. She harbors an intense, mutual rivalry with Tamamo no Mae (Caster), largely due to their overlapping fox-like visual motifs and conflicting personalities. Conversely, she forms an unexpected rapport with Rani VIII, bonding over their shared minimalist stance regarding undergarments.

Trivia

Unlike many female heroic spirits in the Fate franchise, Suzuka Gozen was historically depicted as female in her original legends, making her a rare Servant who was not gender-bent for the series. Her eclectic aesthetic taste extends to architecture; while serving as a labyrinth guard, she designed a floor featuring a massive traditional Japanese castle bizarrely integrated with a modern Ferris wheel.
