Overview

A Caster-class Servant introduced in the Fate series, appearing prominently in Fate/Grand Order. Identified as a magical queen and Pharaoh of ancient Egypt's Sixth Dynasty, she plays a major role in storylines such as the Camelot Singularity. While she strives to uphold the solemn majesty expected of an ancient monarch, her earnest yet impulsive nature renders her a deeply relatable and compassionate figure among the heroic spirits.

Appearance

She is a dark-skinned woman with very long purple hair, sidelocks, purple eyes, a facial mark, a hairband, hoop earrings, and other jewelry. On her head, she wears long ear-like pieces patterned after the feather symbols of the sky god Horus. She feels embarrassed by the high exposure of her initial attire, but her final ascension represents the fully realized form of Horus that she could not attain in life, granting her a more mature silhouette and demeanor.

Personality

Although she tries to maintain an imposing and authoritative demeanor fitting for a Pharaoh, she is fundamentally an earnest, loyal, and deeply caring individual. However, her short temper, stubbornness, and tendency to jump to conclusions often lead to flustered blunders. Well aware of her own immaturity as a ruler, she tends to feel self-conscious around legendary Pharaohs. Towards her Master, whom she addresses as an ally, she acts as a protective companion with an affectionate, childhood-friend-like presence.

Abilities

She fights primarily by using ancient Egyptian magecraft to summon familiars, including spirit fragments of Horus, golden scarabs, mummies grabbing from beneath the ground, and swarms of sheet-covered Medjed familiars through dimensional gates. Her skills include Territory Creation for constructing temples, Item Construction for hieroglyph-inscribed items, Divinity, Egyptian Magecraft (which becomes Works of the Netherworld God), High-Speed Incantation, and Favour of the Sky God. Her Noble Phantasm, Anpu Neb Ta Jeser, projects a terrifying netherworld through a dark mirror, causing instant death or Arts damage to all enemies while lowering their critical attack rate.

Background

According to legend, she was a queen who ruled ancient Egypt near the end of the Sixth Dynasty. After her beloved brothers were murdered by political conspirators, she exacted revenge by luring the perpetrators to a banquet and drowning them with water from the Nile before committing suicide. Although modern historians debate her actual existence due to a lack of primary documentation, in the story she guards the desert under Ozymandias and later accompanies Chaldea, eventually transforming into an Avenger during extreme adversity.

Relationships

She holds immense reverence for Ozymandias as a supreme Pharaoh, sharing a close dynamic with him despite predating him historically. Though initially intimidated by legendary figures like Iskandar and Cleopatra, she gains royal confidence through their encouragement. She displays protective warmth toward her Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru, while Kadoc Zemlupus acknowledges her impressive magic skills. She enjoys a close friendship with Scheherazade, spending quiet tea breaks together, and forms unique bonds with Robin Hood, Brave Eli, and Hassan of Serenity. Additionally, Gilgamesh and Darius III occasionally mistake her for the Assyrian queen of the same name.

Trivia

While her name is mentioned in ancient texts such as the Turin King List and the writings of Herodotus, her historical existence is widely questioned due to a lack of definitive physical artifacts. Her Noble Phantasm incorporates elements from the "Mirror of Nitocris," an artifact created by Brian Lumley in the Cthulhu Mythos. Additionally, her ear-like head accessories are humorously pulled by Ozymandias, who teases her by calling them severe bedhead.
