Background
According to tradition, Taikoubou was discovered by King Wen of Zhou while fishing along the Wei River. Recognized as the sage long awaited by the king's predecessors, he was honored with the name Taikoubou. He provided crucial counsel to King Wen and King Wu in defeating the Shang Dynasty, eventually becoming the founder of the State of Qi.
Relationships
Taikoubou served under King Wen of Zhou, who recognized his intellect, and later assisted King Wu in overthrowing the Shang Dynasty. In Fate/Grand Order, he acts as a dependable ally to the Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru.
Trivia
The title Taikoubou literally signifies the sage whom the former lord (Taigong) had long desired. Throughout history, he has been referred to by several titles and names, including Jiang Taigong and Shi Shangfu.
