Overview
Magical Sapphire is a sentient Mystic Code known as a Kaleidostick, appearing in works such as Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya. Created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, she is the younger sister of Magical Ruby. After abandoning her original master, Luviagelita Edelfelt, she formed a new contract to serve Miyu Edelfelt.
Appearance
Magical Sapphire features a hexagram star on the head of her staff and wings shaped like butterfly wings. When her master transforms using her power, the resulting outfit tends to be highly revealing, taking the form of a midriff-baring costume or a sleek, swim-leotard-like design that emphasizes bodily contours.
Personality
In contrast to her chaotic older sister, Magical Sapphire is calm, rational, and naturally faithful to her master. While normally polite, she possesses a sharp tongue and a coldly pragmatic streak. She sometimes offers extreme suggestions or blunt commentary during hazardous situations with a completely unbothered demeanor, surprising those around her.
Abilities
Magical Sapphire possesses baseline performance equivalent to that of Magical Ruby. She is equipped with a brainwashing radio wave device capable of memory erasure, though targets affected by this function permanently lose one point of IQ. On one occasion, she used these brainwashing waves against her own sister to resolve a disturbance, leaving Ruby malfunctioning for three full days.
Background
Crafted by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg as one of a paired set of wands, Magical Sapphire was originally held by Luviagelita Edelfelt. However, she deserted Luviagelita and chose Miyu Edelfelt as her new master, aiding her through various magical battles and chaotic events.
Relationships
Magical Sapphire is the younger sister of Magical Ruby, whose personality is the exact opposite of her own. She serves Miyu Edelfelt as her current master with great loyalty, having abandoned her former master, Luviagelita Edelfelt. Additionally, Chloe von Einzbern once teased her regarding the suggestive design choices of her transformation outfits.
Trivia
While her older sister Magical Ruby features a pentagram on the head of her staff, Magical Sapphire is distinguished by a hexagram motif.
