Overview
Mecha Eli-Chan is an Alter Ego-class Servant introduced in Fate/Grand Order. Her full official designation is Magus Aegis Elizabeth Channel. Built from the legacy of an unnamed sage hidden beneath Csejte Castle, this silent guardian statue awakened in response to Elizabeth Bathory's repeated encounters with the Holy Grail. Embodying an unyielding sense of justice and a noble duty to protect her domain, she serves as a dependable mecha-style guardian alongside the Master.
Appearance
Standing 156 cm tall and weighing 4 tons, Mecha Eli-Chan is a female-type Servant constructed with a metallic iron body modeled after Elizabeth Bathory. She features long pink hair styled into twintails with bangs hanging between her blue eyes, along with pointed ears, curled dragon horns on her head, wings on her back, and a mechanical dragon tail. She wears a skirt-like lower body structure and houses an internal spatial-compression organ called the Dragon Lungs.
Personality
Unlike other variants of Elizabeth Bathory who possess Chaotic alignments, Mecha Eli-Chan is strictly aligned as Lawful Good. She presents herself as a cool-headed, thoughtful young lady of high standing who suppresses her girlish personality to fulfill her noble obligations to her domain. When confronting evil, she adopts a stern, authoritarian demeanor to deliver harsh reprimands. To a trusted Master, however, she occasionally displays a modest, bashful smile. She harbors a strong dislike for lazy nobles, irresponsible rulers, runaway versions of herself, and octopus-like robots.
Abilities
Featuring a solid steel body, Mecha Eli-Chan is immune to dragon-slaying traits while possessing high magic resistance and physical durability. By manipulating her outer layer of Eliza Particles, she can deploy an array of built-in armaments including eye beams, mouth flamethrowers, rocket punches, electrified tail strikes, skirt-mounted missiles, throwable wing blades, wrist vulcan cannons, and hands that transform into drills. She also holds high creation capabilities capable of manufacturing equipment like specialized headsets. Her Noble Phantasm, Breast Zero Erzsébet, opens her internal Dragon Lungs at maximum output, unleashing her entire arsenal alongside a destructive acoustic shockwave upon a single target.
Background
Deep beneath Csejte Castle, an ancient guardian statue left behind by a nameless sage awakened as a god of protection in response to the Holy Grail and Elizabeth Bathory's actions. Although Osakabehime temporarily modified the statue for her own selfish desires, Mecha Eli-Chan asserted her identity as a guardian of justice to resolve the crisis. Following her contract with Chaldea, her rare Alter Ego classing and strong single-target firepower rendered her an indispensable asset for the Master, most notably during the conflicts against Foreigner-class entities in Salem.
Relationships
She holds no expectations for Elizabeth Bathory and views Carmilla's plight with detached pity, considering it an earned consequence. She severely reprimands Osakabehime for illegally modifying her body and vows to re-educate her. She highly respects her Master, Fujimaru Ritsuka, recognizing their strong moral character and pledging her loyalty as their steadfast guardian. While she finds Charles Babbage difficult to approach due to his octopus-like appearance, she admires Avicebron as a great predecessor. She personally delivered physical punishment to James Moriarty for leaking her blueprints online.
Trivia
Her character design and attack animations pay heavy homage to Toho mecha films such as Mechagodzilla and various super robot series. The writer was inspired to create her after admiring cool mecha figures at a hobby show in Shizuoka. During Valentine's Day events, rather than offering conventional chocolates, she presents the Master with a tactical communications headset helmet. Her overwhelming super robot aesthetic eventually led to her receiving an official alloy action figure release from Good Smile Company.
