Overview
Lord Logres is a Saber-class Servant who debuts in Fate/Grand Order, appearing as a Grand Saber before becoming playable as a 5-star Servant. Her True Name remains Artoria Pendragon; however, rather than representing a single historical person, she embodies the ultimate idealized King Arthur—a spirit-like entity born from the collective fantasy and legends of a perfected monarch, taking her title from the realm of Logres.
Appearance
She has blonde hair styled with braids, a bun, a single ahoge, and ribbons, alongside green or blue eyes. Standing at 163 cm and weighing 50 kg, her design features a crown, a gold-based breastplate, gauntlets, and an armored dress, complemented by a red cloak with fur trim. Her weapon visually shifts across her ascensions, beginning with a blade resembling Caliburn before transforming into a more ornate form of Excalibur.
Personality
Impartial, composed, and completely devoid of personal ambition, she is a fully realized monarch who respects the human pursuit of ideals. Despite her dignified exterior, she is intensely competitive. Her demeanor shifts across her forms: ranging from a measured, gender-neutral warrior to a flawless noblewoman governing without hiding her gender, and finally to a resolute Knight King who refuses to accept defeat.
Abilities
Possessing high Magic Resistance, Riding ability, and dragon factor traits, she wields limitless magical energy in combat. She can manifest energy dragon wings and tails for high-speed maneuvering, releasing torrents of flame, light, and whirlwind slashes. Her Noble Phantasm, Excalibur Excelsus, is an A+++ rank Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm that channels planetary life force into a devastating wave of energy. Her skill Enys Gutrin grants absolute defense, though it forces her into a long sleep afterwards.
Background
She represents the perfected manifestation of King Arthur, born from centuries of mythologizing where rulers altered the legend to fit their ideals of a flawless knight and king. Unbound to the singular life of a mortal girl, she is the convergence of Holy Sword rituals across countless parallel worlds. Belonging to the nature of spirits rather than humans, she manifests as an ultimate standard when the assistant system Artoria Avalon ceases its function.
Relationships
She holds respect for Pseudepigrapha Solomon, who initially summoned her. Among her Knights of the Round Table, she trusts Lancelot completely as an ideal knight, values Bedivere's quiet presence, acknowledges Gawain's perfection, and sternly warns Tristan against infidelity. She serves her Master, Fujimaru Ritsuka, with steady loyalty much like her conventional Saber self.
Trivia
The title Logres in her name originates from the mythical realm ruled by King Arthur in legendary tradition. The epithet Excelsus attached to her Noble Phantasm is derived from Latin, signifying something supreme, exalted, or mighty.
