Overview
A Servant of the Archer class introduced in Fate/Grand Order's Lostbelt No. 6, Avalon le Fae. Operating under the title of Fairy Knight Tristan, she inherits the Spirit Origin name of the Round Table knight Tristan, while her True Name is Baobhan Sith, a vampiric faerie from Scottish folklore. Raised as a witch in Lostbelt Britain, she enjoys a privileged status as the adoptive mother's designated successor under Queen Morgan.
Appearance
She is a tall woman standing 170 cm in height with long red hair, pointy ears, and slender legs. Her signature high-heeled footwear features soles and heels shaped to resemble deer hooves. She carries a modified version of the bow Failnaught, which is smaller than the original weapon and takes on a sinister design reminiscent of a human spinal column.
Personality
Hating boredom above all else, she possesses a sadistic and short-tempered nature. Her speech shifts rapidly between elegant, refined phrasing and viciously abusive profanity. While she mercilessly harms anyone who annoys her regardless of kin, she acts deeply affectionate toward her adoptive mother Morgan and her associate Beryl Gut. She delights in moonlight and high heels while detesting the sun and noisy crowds.
Abilities
In combat, she uses her unique bow Failnaught to release slice attacks via soundwaves and strings. She can manifest reddish-black thorns from the ground, project them from her fingertips, or unleash them all around by spinning. Additionally, she stabs foes by extending her high heels like spears and casts Gandr. Her skills include Magic Resistance EX, Riding A, Territory Creation A, Faerie Knight B, Blessed Successor EX, Greymalkin A, and Faerie Vampire A. Her Noble Phantasm, Fetch Failnaught, creates a cursed doppleganger from a fraction of the target's body, binding them while causing endless thorns to burst from within.
Background
In traditional Scottish lore, Baobhan Sith is a malicious vampiric fairy who seduces lone men in forests to drink their blood. Within Lostbelt Britain, Queen Morgan raised her as a witch and granted her authority over the area near Darlington. Her ruthless violence toward fellow fairies earned her terrifying epithets such as Faerie Slayer and Blood-stained Red Heel.
Relationships
She harbors profound devotion and absolute obedience toward her adoptive mother, Queen Morgan. With the Crypter Beryl Gut, she shares an idiosyncratic rapport, addressing each other with gem-themed nicknames—Lady Spinel and Red Beryl. She exhibits total apathy toward the Pan-Human History knight Tristan, while initially treating Chaldea's Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru, with severe hostility and contempt.
Trivia
Her nickname Lady Spinel stems from the gemstone spinel, historically dismissed as a fake ruby due to its similarity to genuine rubies, despite famously being the true identity of the Black Prince's Ruby in the Imperial State Crown. Due to her long formal title, fans and creators frequently refer to her by the affectionate shorthand Tori-ko.
