Overview
Miss Crane is a Caster-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order whose True Name is Tsurume-no-Kimi, derived from Japanese folktales such as Tsuru no Ongaeshi. Originally appearing as the narrator of Fate/Grand Order Waltz in the MOONLIGHT/LOSTROOM, she is a master seamstress who travels the world, dedicated to repaying every kindness she receives by tailoring custom garments.
Appearance
Miss Crane appears as a mature woman wearing glasses, with purple eyes and red hair that later incorporates black accents. She dresses in a witch-like Western outfit as well as traditional white Japanese garments with wide sleeves. Reflecting her crane nature, she has sharp bird-like claws on her hands, grows white wings from her back in later forms, and wears accessories such as a feather boa and jewelry.
Personality
Polite, kind, and exceptionally hardworking, Miss Crane feels compelled to repay even the smallest favor with profound gratitude. Beneath her sophisticated exterior, she is an obsessive idol fan who frequently loses her composure when interacting with her favorite stars or fine attire. While she keeps public areas neat, her personal quarters are extraordinarily messy, cluttered with discarded clothes, design notes, fashion magazines, and empty liquor bottles.
Abilities
Miss Crane possesses the ability to create magical cloth and garments, enhancing their quality and extra effects within her tailored workshop field. She can visually measure an individual's precise dimensions through their clothes. Her Noble Phantasm, Ten'imuhou - Tsuru no Enishi Namida no Wakare, briefly manifests the ideal garment that imparts hope to its wearer, though crafting it causes her to retreat from the battlefield due to intense exertion.
Background
Formed from stories of birds returning favors, Miss Crane expanded her traditional origins by traveling the world, learning to craft full garments to repay those who helped her. In her past, she trained in Paris and spent time staying at the Enma-tei under the name Oyu. After assisting during singular events, she eventually establishes her own permanent tailoring studio within Chaldea.
Relationships
Miss Crane serves as a stylist for Mysterious Idol X (Alter) after being rescued by her. She shares a close professional bond and friendship with fellow crafter Habetrot, collaborating on creative projects. She also has a history with Beni-enma from her past stay at the Enma-tei, and keeps thorough, unsolicited track of the physical measurements of Fujimaru Ritsuka and other Servants in Chaldea.
Trivia
Her favorite things include idols and meeting delivery deadlines, while she strongly dislikes arrows and traps. Despite being a crane, she humorously strikes a 'wild eagle pose' when activating skills in battle. Her moniker Miss Crane is an English rendering of her True Name, Tsurume-no-Kimi.
