Dove

Overview

Dove is a character featured in the mobile game Fate/Grand Order. Based on the biblical dove from the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament—who was sent from Noah's Ark to search for dry land and returned bearing an olive branch—this figure serves as a loyal messenger to Noah.

Appearance

Dove can take on both a bird form and a human form. In human form, Dove possesses a strikingly androgynous appearance. Dove features short, multicolored hair—blending grey, black, white, and blue with a colored inner layer—alongside hair between the eyes, sidelocks, long locks, and hair intakes. Wearing a dress with wide, long sleeves that extend past the wrists and fingers, Dove is adorned with jewelry and has grey eyes.

Personality

Dove is deeply devoted to Noah, placing the master's emotional well-being and inner struggles above all else. Referring to oneself with the pronoun 'atashi', Dove responds to a shortened nickname given by Noah. Dove's single-minded care for Noah can drive actions that clash with others, though peace and reconciliation remain attainable once those feelings are understood.

Abilities

Dove possesses the ability to shapeshift between an avian form and a human form, acting as a functional messenger and familiar under Noah's direction.

Background

Originating from the Genesis narrative where a dove returned to Noah's Ark with an olive branch, Dove functions in Fate/Grand Order as one of Noah's key avian emissaries. During a temporary conflict stemming from Noah's personal tribulations, Dove initially opposes the Chaldea organization before the situation is resolved and mutual understanding is achieved.

Relationships

Dove serves Noah with absolute dedication, receiving the affectionate nickname 'Dov' from him. Dove also works alongside Raven, another avian messenger acting under Noah's command.

Trivia

The visual design for Dove was created by the illustrator Itefu.
