Overview

An Archer-class Servant featured in Fate/Grand Order, originating from the Servant Universe. Known as a top-tier space scout turned bounty hunter, she pairs up with Space Ishtar to traverse the galaxy. Functioning as a bubbly "Space Cheerleader," she brings a relentlessly cheerful atmosphere wherever she travels despite her historical ties to galactic threats.

Appearance

She features long blonde hair often styled in a side ponytail, paired with green eyes. Her design blends cowgirl elements with a cheerleader outfit, including bare shoulders, gloves, hoop earrings, and other jewelry. Distinctive markings, such as a star tattoo and facial accents, decorate her body.

Personality

Extremely optimistic and carefree, she dislikes dwelling on complex issues to the point of rapidly forgetting past grudges and debts. As a natural mood-maker, she finds joy in supporting and praising others rather than focusing on herself. She faces galactic crises with an unfazed confidence in survival, though her extreme, impulsive problem-solving and absolute lack of domestic skills can baffle those around her.

Abilities

In combat, she wields large handguns capable of firing destruction bullets and multi-hit rainbow beams, combining them with cheer-style martial arts and explosive balls. Though her direct anti-personnel capabilities are somewhat reduced, she excels at sabotage, reconnaissance, and space vessel operation. Her primary Noble Phantasm, Space Dead Man's Hand, fires a bullet marked with "Bad Luck" that invariably loops around to strike the target's head from behind, evoking the imagery of the poker hand held at a famous figures death. Her secondary Noble Phantasm, Sentinel Stellaris, once exposed and fixed enemy weaknesses as absolute truth, though it has been rendered unusable due to a curse.

Background

While connected to the historical pioneer and scout Martha Jane Canary from Proper Human History, her depicted incarnation comes from the Servant Universe. Two thousand years ago, she was part of the elite squad that defeated the Primordial Goddess. For slaying a deity, she was cursed with immortality, unable to die until the goddess reawakens. Rather than falling into despair over millennia of wandering, her naturally cheerful disposition allowed her to endure intact.

Relationships

She operates alongside Space Ishtar as a bounty-hunting partner, affectionately calling her "Ishtarin." Originally tasked with monitoring her after the ancient war, Jane largely forgot the original mission due to her easygoing nature. In her background, she was the lover and comrade-in-arms of "Wild Bill" Hickok, whose tragic demise forms the basis of her technique. She also maintains friendly, casual rapport with Fujimaru Ritsuka, displaying a surprisingly deep loyalty beneath her playful demeanor.

Trivia

Her moniker "Calamity" stems from dual legends: one as a savior during a native attack, and another as a woman who brings misfortune to her lovers. The card combination visual featured in her Noble Phantasm—a two-pair of Aces and Eights—directly references the famous "Dead Man's Hand" held by Wild Bill Hickok at the time of his assassination.
