Overview
A prominent figure appearing in Part 2 of Fate/Grand Order, this mysterious wanderer travels across the bleached Earth's Lostbelts, offering assistance to local inhabitants while calling himself "Chaldea No Mono" (The Chaldean). His true identity is a surviving remnant of the Demon King Goetia, specifically the Demon Pillar Flauros who previously infiltrated Chaldea under the alias Lev Lainur. Taking one of the ten rings left upon the throne, he assumed the physical likeness of his former friend, Romani Archaman. Wandering between an ally and an enigmatic observer, he ultimately confronts Chaldea as a Pretender-class Servant to test their resolve.
Appearance
He takes on a human form almost identical to Romani Archaman and King Solomon. He has long orange hair tied back into a ponytail, with strands hanging down between his eyes. Unlike Romani's green eyes, his eyes are bright orange, characterized by a noticeably sharper gaze. His attire consists of white clothing worn underneath a ragged, tattered cloak.
Personality
He maintains an arrogant and cold demeanor, frequently clicking his tongue when annoyed. He insists that his helpful actions toward Lostbelt inhabitants are driven purely by pragmatic calculation to accelerate the collapse of these worlds rather than genuine benevolence. Beneath this sharp exterior lie deeply complex feelings of respect, regret, and rivalry toward his former friend, Romani Archaman. Viewing himself merely as a representative who lost, he refuses to claim any achievements for himself. Although he addresses Novum Chaldea with harsh criticism, he occasionally steps in to provide crucial warnings or assistance during dire moments.
Abilities
He possesses exceptional concealment skills, allowing him to move undetected by Lostbelt Kings, Crypters, and Apostles of the Alien God. In combat, he displays skilled swordplay using sharp blades and can cast high-level Age of Gods magecraft distinct from Nordic runes to repair structures. He is also proficient in medical healing and possesses a form of vision capable of observing the future. Additionally, he exhibits a unique manifestation and disappearance technique, and can enter a Servant contract to enhance magical output while exerting power rivaling a Grand Caster.
Background
Following the defeat at the Grand Temple of Time, while the 72 Demon Pillars accepted their demise, Flauros rejected this conclusion due to his bond with Romani Archaman. Taking one of the ten rings remaining on the throne, he descended to the bleached Earth. Having previously helped raise Mash Kyrielight alongside Romani at Chaldea, he assumed Romani's physical form to dispose of Chaldea's negative legacy. He traversed the Lostbelts to monitor and indirectly assist Chaldea. After informing them of the Ordeal Call trials required to rectify the overuse of Extra classes, he awaited them at the remnants of the Time Temple as their final test.
Relationships
He shares a profound bond with Romani Archaman, his former colleague and friend at old Chaldea, taking on Romani's identity out of a mixture of regret and respect. He acts as a stern mentor and tester toward Mash Kyrielight and Fujimaru Ritsuka. In the Atlantic Lostbelt, he negotiated directly with Kirschtaria Wodime to spare Chaldea. During his visit to the British Lostbelt, he expressed admiration for Morgan's extraordinary magical achievements. Furthermore, he explicitly cautioned Chaldea against trusting Sherlock Holmes due to his true nature.
Trivia
Initially introduced under the title "Chaldea No Mono," he later adopts the names "Romani Archaman" and "Pseudepigrapha Solomon" in text prompts. Classified as a Pretender Servant, he experiences inner disbelief at how drastically human reactions change simply because he took on a human physical form. His characteristic habit of clicking his tongue in annoyance serves as one of his defining behavioral traits throughout his appearances in the Lostbelts.
