Overview
A character from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Driven by an ambition to master and rule the unified world, he manipulates organizational resources and subordinates from behind the scenes.
Appearance
He features blonde hair and blue eyes, typically dressed in a refined white suit.
Personality
Exuding an aura of aristocratic elegance, he possesses boundless ambition and intense self-importance. He views himself as the rightful sovereign of a newly unified world, ruthlessly exploiting organization funds and allies to fulfill his designs. However, his arrogance leaves him blind to the fact that he is himself being manipulated.
Abilities
Alongside his diplomatic and political influence as an ambassador, he is a trained pilot. He is capable of operating the large Mobile Armor GNMA-XCVII Alvatore, its internal Mobile Suit GNMS-XCVII Alvaaron, as well as the VMS-15 Union Realdo.
Background
Leveraging his position as a diplomat while acting as an Observer, he sought control over Celestial Being's central system. He maneuvered behind the scenes alongside his servant to restructure the world order under his reign. Entering the battlefield personally during the final confrontation in heavy armor, he was ultimately defeated by Setsuna F. Seiei, realizing his servant's betrayal in his final moments.
Relationships
He retained Ribbons Almark as a seemingly obedient subordinate, using his capabilities without realizing Ribbons was manipulating him from behind. On the battlefield, he faced the Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei in a fatal duel.
Trivia
In the in-universe film Celestial Being featured within A Wakening of the Trailblazer, his historical role is portrayed in an exaggerated, highly theatrical fashion as a stereotypical main villain.
