Natora Einus

Overview

Natora Einus is an Earth Federation Forces officer featured in the third generation (Kio Arc) of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. At 25 years old, she is appointed captain of the battleship Diva, promoting her from captain to major. Despite being ridiculed by others as relying on the influence of her grandfather, Vice Admiral Einus, she gradually strives to step up into her command role amidst the realities of war.

Appearance

Natora is a young woman with short red hair and green eyes, characterized by a large bust. She wears the standard Earth Federation officer uniform. Among her personal items, she carries colored pens and a sketchbook.

Personality

Natora is timid, indecisive, and easily panicked under sudden stress, sometimes accidentally using overly polite speech toward her subordinates. She loves children and enjoys drawing. Well aware of her own inexperience and lack of authority on the bridge, she demonstrates a strong sense of effort, staying up late to study tactics and warship systems to prove her worth.

Abilities

Originally a desk officer, Natora initially lacked practical experience in combat command. Through rigorous study of tactics and the internal systems of the battleship Diva, she gained the skill to issue precise operational orders and manage ship systems effectively to navigate the vessel through extreme combat situations.

Background

Natora was appointed captain of the Diva by Colonel Andy Drams as a deliberate political move against former commander Flit Asuno. Due to her inexperience, Flit initially took practical command, reducing her to a figurehead on the bridge. Guided by officers like Seric Abis, she diligently studied to overcome her deficiencies. During the Battle of La Gramis, after receiving Seric's final words, she tearfully ordered the firing of the main cannon to fulfill her duty, later evacuating her crew to the Baronoke and continuing her command from there.

Relationships

She is the granddaughter of Vice Admiral Einus. Former commander Flit Asuno initially took over her operational authority on the bridge due to her lack of experience. Seric Abis recognized her potential as a captain and offered guidance, becoming an important mentor figure to her. She also feels a deep empathy toward Kio Asuno, seeing him as another young person swept up by the motives of adults.

Trivia

Due to her endearing clumsiness and lack of authority early on, fans fondly referred to her as a hopeless captain. In the crossover game Super Robot Wars BX, she shares comedic interactions with Yurika Misumaru, a fellow inexperienced female captain from a prestigious military background.
