Overview

Patrick Colasour is a mobile suit pilot featuring in the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series. Initially serving as a Second Lieutenant and test pilot for the Advanced European Union (AEU), he later transitions through the United Nations forces and A-Laws before joining the Earth Sphere Federation Peacekeeping Army. Boasting a record of over 2,000 simulated battle victories, his uncanny ability to survive severe mobile suit destructions completely unharmed earns him the moniker "Immortal Colasour." Defining the narrative as a lighthearted comic relief, his arc heavily revolves around his sudden, devoted infatuation with his superior officer, Kati Mannequin.

Appearance

According to source data and media tags, he has brown or red hair styled with bangs covering one eye, and eyes depicted in shades of purple, yellow, brown, or blue. He is dressed in standard military uniforms and pilot suits representing the AEU and A-Laws factions, operating signature mobile suits such as the AEU Enact, GN-X, GN-X III, and GN-X IV.

Personality

Brash, cocky, and quick to flaunt his status, Patrick possesses a lively and uncomplicated personality. Though frequently mocked as a simpleton due to his lack of deep tactical deliberation, he operates on a surprisingly practical philosophy of placing absolute trust in qualified superiors. Friendly and easygoing, he tries to bond effortlessly with fellow pilots regardless of their rigid demeanor. His dedication to Kati Mannequin is absolute and unshakeable, driving him to remain cheerful, fiercely loyal, and eager to impress her under any circumstances.

Abilities

Patrick boasts an exceptional background of over 2,000 undefeated simulated battles, showcasing remarkable piloting mechanics such as precise high-speed landings and efficient defensive maneuvering. He exhibits strong tactical instincts, including dodging wide-area beam fire on first encounter, manually detaching his suit's lower body to prevent sympathetic detonation, and using hidden weaponry under pressure. His intuition during ejection procedures, combined with extraordinary luck, enables him to consistently survive catastrophic suit losses.

Background

During a public demonstration of the AEU Enact, Patrick suffered a humiliating defeat against the invading Gundam Exia, inspiring a bitter rivalry with Celestial Being. Soon after, receiving punches from his commanding officer Kati Mannequin for arriving late led him to fall deeply in love with her. Selected as a top pilot for the United Nations GN-X force, he survived grueling battles against the Gundams. He later voluntarily transferred to A-Laws to remain by Kati's side. Following the conflict, he was promoted to Captain, married Kati to become Patrick Mannequin, and miraculously survived the confrontation against the ELS.

Relationships

Kati Mannequin is his commanding officer and the love of his life, whom he eventually marries. He shares a fierce combat rivalry with Celestial Being's Gundam Meisters, including Setsuna F. Seiei, Tieria Erde, and Lockon Stratos. Throughout his career in joint operations and A-Laws, he also interacts with officers and pilots from rival unions such as Graham Aker and Daryl Dodge.

Trivia

His uncanny survival streak earned him the in-universe and real-world nickname "Immortal Colasour," which he proudly updated to "Happy Colasour" after marrying Kati. During the invasion of the extraterrestrial ELS, he offhandedly correctly predicted the true nature of the event by guessing that Earth was being targeted by hostile aliens.
