Haman Karn features pink hair styled in a medium-length flared cut alongside striking purple eyes. In her youth at age fourteen, she wore her long hair in twintails before adopting her signature look following a covert mission. Her outfits include decorated military-style dresses paired with a cape and tight high boots. She famously sorties in space without wearing a normal suit, opting to put one on only during her final confrontation.

Reflected by her reputation as an Iron Lady, Haman is a stern, decisive, and calculating leader who acts ruthlessly to achieve her objectives. As a supreme commander, she exercises exceptional strategic intellect, organizing political treaties, fleet maneuvers, and large-scale orbital drop operations.

Background

Born in U.C. 0067 as the daughter of Maharaja Karn, Haman was identified early as a Newtype and moved to Axis after the One Year War, where she met Char Aznable. Following her father's death in U.C. 0083, she assumed the regency for Mineva Lao Zabi. Diverging ideology and personal disappointments fractured her bond with Char, prompting her to reorganize Axis into Neo Zeon and strike into the Earth Sphere. Although she gained immense power during the Gryps War and First Neo Zeon War, an internal rebellion led by Glemy Toto severely damaged her army. In U.C. 0089, she engaged Judau Ashta's ZZ Gundam in a final duel; upon her defeat, she refused help and crashed her machine into Axis, dying at age twenty-two.

Haman shares a troubled history with her former lover Char Aznable, leaving behind a complex web of affection and animosity. She acts as guardian and regent to Mineva Lao Zabi, protecting her while leveraging her royal lineage for political control. Sensing Char's aura within Judau Ashta, she attempts to recruit him multiple times, only to be rebuffed.
