Appearance

Kati Mannequin is a woman with a sharp, intellectual appearance who wears glasses. While on duty, she keeps her long hair tied back into a neat bun behind her head, but she allows it to hang down naturally during her personal time. She possesses a well-proportioned figure and a refined visual demeanor.

Personality

Characterized by a strict, highly disciplined demeanor and a firm tone, Kati Mannequin is a pragmatist who holds deep moral convictions. She believes that while ending all conflict entirely may be impossible, executing precise tactical operations to achieve swift resolution and minimize casualties is the true path toward peace. Though she maintains a stern and composed exterior, she possesses a strong sense of justice, reacting with intense indignation to inhumane military atrocities and showing sincere concern for the lives of her subordinates.

Abilities

Recognized as a tactical forecasting genius, Kati Mannequin proved her strategic brilliance during her university years by formulating operational theories that led seven different conflicts to victory. She possesses exceptional leadership capabilities, commanding everything from localized mobile suit squadrons to the entire Earth Defense Fleet. Background

Born in Helsinki, Finland, Kati Mannequin attended an international university before being recruited into the Advanced European Union as a high-ranking tactical forecaster. She served as an operational commander during major joint exercises and later joined the United Nations forces. Transferred to A-Laws in response to renewed crisis, she grew disillusioned with the organization's ruthless actions. During the Break Pillar incident, she disobeyed orders to lead efforts in mitigating catastrophic casualties, ultimately defecting to lead a coup d'état against A-Laws. Following the conflict, she was promoted to Brigadier General and took supreme command of the Earth Defense Fleet during the ELS invasion.

Relationships

Kati Mannequin's relationship with Patrick Colasour began when she reprimanded him for lateness; his persistent adoration eventually led to their marriage following the A-Laws conflict. She shares a long history with Leesa Kujo (Sumeragi Lee Noriega) from their university days, where mutual admiration was later strained by a past friendly-fire tragedy and their opposing positions during the Celestial Being conflict. Additionally, she maintained a respectful professional partnership with Sergei Smirnov while joint-commanding United Nations forces.

Trivia

Known throughout the military by the moniker Iron Lady, Kati Mannequin is widely remembered for a famous statement of reassurance she delivered to Patrick Colasour prior to a major desert operation, promising to make a full-fledged soldier out of him. Following their marriage after the A-Laws conflict, her registered surname changed to Colasour.
