Overview
Azumi-no-Isora is an Alter Ego-class Pseudo-Servant featured in Fate/Grand Order. She is a divine spirit originating from Japanese mythology who also embodies Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. Manifesting by possessing the bodies of both Hibino Hibiki and Katsuragi Chikagi, she seamlessly bridges the gap between ancient divine entity and modern mortal. Having once retreated to the silent depths of the sea out of grief, her summoning as a Servant allows her to walk the earth once more alongside her human hosts while offering guidance to those around her.
Appearance
In traditional depictions, she covers herself with a white cloth to seal away her blinding radiance. She features long grey hair tied into a ponytail, accessorized with hair ornaments shaped like coral. As a Pseudo-Servant, her physical presence manifests through the forms of her two vessels, Hibino Hibiki and Katsuragi Chikagi, as well as an awakened form designated as Sirius upon reaching her third ascension.
Personality
Having spent centuries in self-imposed isolation on the ocean floor following the loss of a loved one, she initially projects a detached attitude regarding the fate of the planet. Beneath this distant exterior lies a curious and impressionable disposition, recalling how she once eagerly learned about the mortal world like an innocent child. As she connects with the two girls who serve as her vessels, her cold demeanor softens, restoring her lost warmth and willingness to engage with humanity.
Abilities
Operating under the Alter Ego class, her attributes shift between Human, Earth, and Star depending on her active form. As the deified concept of the star Sirius, which guided ancient mariners across the seas, she possesses divine authorities associated with celestial navigation and harvest deities. She naturally emits a blinding radiance so intense that it hampers sight, requiring her to wear a cloth shroud to constrain her overwhelming cosmic illumination.
Background
Born from human prayers during the Age of Gods, this star deity drifted ashore and was taken in by a girl named Yuta, who named her Isora and taught her about mortal life. When Yuta was tragically lost, Isora retreated into grief at the bottom of the sea, remaining hidden for centuries. After awakening as a divine spirit through events in the Nagasaki Singularity, her encounters with Hibino Hibiki and Katsuragi Chikagi inspired her to accept her summoning as a Servant.
Relationships
Yuta was the human girl who found the drifted deity, named her Isora, and introduced her to the wonders of human existence. Hibino Hibiki and Katsuragi Chikagi serve as her physical hosts; their presence represents two shining stars that rescued Isora from her deep isolation, fostering a unique shared bond across their combined existence.
Trivia
The character design for Azumi-no-Isora was created by the illustrator Anmi. Before her true identity as a divine spirit was revealed in the narrative, she provided assistance to the main characters under the informal name Smartphone-san. Additionally, her fully awakened celestial form in her third ascension is designated by the title Sirius.
