The Einerad is designed in the shape of a massive wheel with gun artillery mounted atop its outer rim. The Einerad significantly enhances the speed and defense of the mobile suit operating it. By projecting beam shields from both flanks, it eliminates blind spots to provide comprehensive protection while utilizing its top-mounted guns to fire upon targets. Expert pilots can also employ its massive weight as a heavy bludgeoning weapon, slamming it into enemy units like a giant hammer. However, its design leaves it vulnerable to being captured by opposing forces during close-quarters combat.
Background
The concept of the Einerad originated from Duker Iq, an officer who favored motorcycle-style ground mobility. Within his unit, orders were even issued forbidding flight in favor of terrestrial travel. Although the system was primarily tailored for use with the ZM-S24G Gedlav, it was also adapted for other machines such as the Zollidia. During engagements with the League Militaire, enemy pilots like Uso Ewin frequently took advantage of close-combat openings to hijack the vehicles and use them against BESPA forces.
Relationships
Duker Iq conceived the initial concept and actively deployed the Einerad within his forces. The ZM-S24G Gedlav was specifically designed to operate in conjunction with the system, though units like the Zollidia were also equipped with it. While utilized by BESPA pilots such as Katejina Loos, the vehicle was frequently captured in battle by the League Militaire protagonist Uso Ewin, who turned the technology against its creators.
