Appearance
The Mack Knife is a 16-meter class mobile suit with a thin and simple silhouette. Its head features a multi-sensor array capable of flashing optical signals. Mass-production units are painted primarily in yellow with a single-eyed sensor, whereas commander units feature a twin-eyed head design. The unit piloted by Mask has a red and white two-tone color scheme, while Barara Peor's unit is painted pink. Expanding its limbs transitions the machine into a streamlined flight mode, while folding its legs compresses it into a storage configuration. Its backpack features connector points for extended-range boosters and option equipment.
Abilities
The suit houses built-in weaponry optimized for rapid engagement. Its finger-mounted Plasma Claws wrap high-temperature plasma around the digits to slice through structural frame and armor. Small Beam Vulcans installed across the frame provide suppression fire; the emitters at the base of the fingers utilize ejectable energy packs. Four Grenade Launchers are built into the inner shins, fed by magazines inside the knees and stored on the backpack. Loaded in the hip joint is the Photon Bomb missile system, which requires the suit to open its legs wide to launch or deploy downwards during flight. The simplified limb-stretching conversion process minimizes vulnerability during mode changes.

Trivia
In 1/144 scale HG plastic kit form, Mask's custom unit received a standard retail release while the mass-production yellow variant was made available as a limited item. Due to the engineering required for its transformation mechanisms, the model kit's hip joints possess an extraordinarily wide range of articulation. Additionally, its accessory connection plugs share the same standard specifications as those on the Catsith.
