Overview

Naucrate is a character featured in the mobile game Fate/Grand Order during the Mystery House Crafters event. Created by the legendary inventor Daedalus, she is a mechanical girl who serves as his dedicated partner and spokesman, translating his intentions to those around him.

Appearance

Naucrate possesses a delicate, doll-like robot girl design featuring visible mechanical ball joints. She has the ability to physically merge with Daedalus, causing the massive automaton to transform into her oversized right arm.

Personality

Polite and dutiful, Naucrate faithfully serves her creator. She dedicates herself to deciphering and articulating the silence of her master, acting with care to facilitate clear communication with allies.

Abilities

Naucrate serves as an interpreter capable of translating Daedalus's electronic beeps and hand gestures into spoken language. In combat, she can physically fuse with Daedalus, configuring his body into a massive right arm for her use.

Background

Constructed by Daedalus after he discarded his own speech capabilities, Naucrate was built to serve as his voice, enabling communication with Chaldea and Ishtar. While she shares her name with the wife of Daedalus and mother of Icarus from Greek mythology, it remains unclear whether she represents the actual historical figure or is merely an automaton crafted in her likeness.

Relationships

She shares a close bound with her creator Daedalus, serving as his voice and physical combat partner. During her introductory events, she interacts directly with Ishtar and the Chaldea party on his behalf.

Trivia

Her visual design was created by illustrator Nakayama Tooru. In classical Greek mythology, Naucrate is identified as the wife of Daedalus and mother of Icarus.
