Background

Hiroto initially began building the machine to fulfill Eve's dream of exploring the outer bounds of GBN, but he left it unfinished for a long time after losing her. During the crisis on Eldora, the BUILD DiVERS helped him complete the armor to reach satellite orbit from Mount Mirag. By catching the high-powered beam of the Avalanche Rex Buster and receiving extra support from Ex Valkylander, the suit successfully breached Eldora's atmosphere. After reaching orbit, the spent armor components were detached and left floating in space.

Relationships

Hiroto Kuga is the machine's builder and pilot. Eve's wish served as the inspiring catalyst for its creation. During the space ascension mission, the team members of BUILD DiVERS provided vital support to help complete the machine and execute the flight.

Trivia

The suit's name is a portmanteau of 'Neptune' and 'eight.' Because its back ring design and gold line patterns evoke Stargazer Gundam, fans informally referred to it by temporary nicknames prior to its official name reveal. It also shares a structural concept with Riku Mikami's Gundam 00 Sky series due to its reliance on the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system.
