Appearance
The Rick Dom II features a heavily armored, bulky frame defined by refined, angular plating. Its paint scheme typically consists of a dark purple and black combination, though a light green variant designed for colony deployment also exists.

Late in the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon launched the United Maintenance Plan to standardise parts and cockpit systems across its mobile suit lineup. Built as part of this program, the Rick Dom II was re-engineered from the existing Rick Dom frame to increase manufacturing efficiency and space performance before being deployed to space battlefields near the war's conclusion. Following the conflict, surviving units were retained by Zeon remnant factions such as the Delaz Fleet and saw continued action in subsequent engagements.
