Tallgeese II

Overview

The OZ-00MS2 Tallgeese II is a mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Reconstructed from spare parts of the original prototype Tallgeese, this unit serves as the personal machine for Treize Khushrenada. Possessing performance identical to the initial unit piloted by Zechs Merquise, it takes the field as a powerful force during the final stage of the conflict.

Appearance

While sharing its core structural design with the original Tallgeese, the Tallgeese II features a distinct color scheme and modified head design. The machine is painted in a blue and white color palette and sports a yellow flared crest atop its head rather than a red plume. Furthermore, its faceplate is stylized to resemble the facial features of a Gundam-type mobile suit.

Abilities

The unit inherits the incredible thrust, extreme mobility, and heavy armor of its predecessor. Its primary firepower comes from a large Dober Gun, supplemented by a circular shield for defense and beam sabers for close-range combat, granting it formidable battle effectiveness across all combat scenarios.

Background

Built using spare parts remaining from the original Tallgeese, the mobile suit became the personal machine of Treize Khushrenada. Deployed during the climax of the conflict in the Eve Wars, it engaged in an intense single combat against the Altron Gundam, piloted by Chang Wufei, which ultimately led to the unit's destruction.

Relationships

The machine is piloted by Treize Khushrenada, the leader of OZ. It stands as a sister unit to the original Tallgeese piloted by Zechs Merquise. In its final fight, it faced off against Chang Wufei and his Altron Gundam in a pivotal duel.

Trivia

In early concept stages for the anime, the machine was envisioned with a black color scheme under the tentative name Black Tallgeese. Although the anime adopted a blue-and-white palette, this black concept was later featured in the manga version. The mobile suit also makes guest appearances in video games such as Super Robot Wars Alpha.
