Walter Gundam, also known by the title Shouhoukouko, is a Mobile Fighter from the anime series Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Serving as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Devil Gundam Corps, it is piloted primarily by Allenby Beardsley and Wong Yunfat.

Appearance
Composed of Devil Gundam (DG) Cells, this machine features armor made of Gundarium alloy super ceramic composite and rare metal hybrid composite. Unlike other Four Heavenly Kings units, it possesses a non-humanoid, Mobile Armor-like structure with a wide-opening mouth lined with sharp fangs. It can transform between a three-legged walking Standing Mode (19.4 meters head height, 9.2 metric tons weight) and a spherical Attack Mode with retracted limbs (8.6 meters height, 10.2 meters overall width).
Personality
As a robotic weapon rather than a sentient being, Walter Gundam lacks an individual personality. Its actions directly reflect the state of its controls or pilots, operating under automated systems, external Berserker System control, or the obsessive desires of DG Cell-infected pilots.
Abilities
Although specialized for underwater combat, it possesses high versatility, capable of solo aerial battle and escaping the Earth's atmosphere without additional boosters. Created entirely from DG Cells, it features advanced camouflage capabilities, allowing it to mimic the appearance and beam ribbon weaponry of other units like Nobel Gundam. Its armaments include a Tackle attack in Attack Mode, a biting Walter Fang using its large jaw, beam cannons in its claws known as Walter Tentacles, and a large-caliber beam cannon built into its armor.
Background
Unlike the other Four Heavenly Kings, Walter Gundam was created directly from DG Cells without mutating from a base Mobile Fighter. During the climax at Lantau Island, it was piloted by a brainwashed Allenby Beardsley via the Berserker System before being defeated by Rain Mikamura's Rising Gundam. Later, Wong Yunfat, infected by DG Cells, commandeered the machine to intercept Domon Kasshu's God Gundam as it attempted to blast off into space. After destroying Domon's Budd Carrier, Wong was swiftly defeated by the mecha horse Fuunsaiki.
Relationships
As a member of the Devil Gundam's Four Heavenly Kings, it serves under the command of the Devil Gundam Corps. Its primary pilots include Allenby Beardsley and Wong Yunfat. In combat, it engaged Rain Mikamura's Rising Gundam, and later ambushed Domon Kasshu's God Gundam before being thwarted by Fuunsaiki.
Trivia
The title prefix Shouhoukouko originates from a famous Chinese wuxia novel. In the later series SD Gundam Force, a character named Shouhoukouko Hagane-maru appears, taking visual and thematic inspiration from Walter Gundam.
